Generation Cloud – UK Cloud Computing Trends
Did you know that Brits have GBP 2.3 billions worth of films, music, books, and other digital possessions stored in the cloud? What’s more, 24 percent of Brits approximately have more than GBP 200 worth of “digital stuffs” shared in the cloud.
Generation Cloud, a study commissioned by Rackspace and the Centre for Creative and Social Technology (CAST) at Goldsmiths, University of London, on 2,000 UK adults reveals some “fun facts” about British people and the cloud.
One of the most interesting finding is the fact that 66% of respondents are using the cloud without realizing it. It seems that UK adults are savvy cloud users even without knowing the answer to this question: What is cloud computing?
