In November 6th, 2011, VIA Technologies Inc. released a free-to-download e-book titled “Small is Beautiful: 10 Years of Mini-ITX.” As the title implies, the e-book is released to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of when VIA Technologies Inc. unveiled the first Mini-ITX motherboard form factor, VT6010 Mini-ITX, a reference design created by Robert Kuo.
